construction contract invioce.
i hav received a part of the amt of a civil contract in the month of july. which contract work is still under process. in gstr1 should i raise sale bill or receipt voucher for the same. and what are the con or prons for the same..

yes u can raise either invoice or receipt voucher for that and show it in gstr 1
Dear,
since only part payment is recivied it is better you issue only Receipt voucher so that GST will be payable only on amount recivied and if you issue Invoice for whole amount then you have to pay GST on whole invoice even you have not recivied full consideration by which your working capital will be blocked for some time
