Consolidation of accounts

Dear All,

Has New Companies Act 2013 made mandatory Consolidation of Accounts ?

My company has got 5 foreign subsidaries and 4 Indian Associates and 2 Indian Joint venture companies ........... so do we need to prepare the consolidation accounts as on 31 March 2015.

Yes. you have to prepare the consolidated financials
