why we should credit goods sent on consignment to trading a/c??

As the consignor continues to own the goods until they are sold.
The stock has just been moved from one place to another for selling via an agent. You can't include it in normal closing stock because then you won't be able to assess how much stock was sent to agent, how much he as sold an how much is left with him.
