30 August 2010is it necessary to tally sales as per vat returns with sales shown in books for income tax purposes, in case of consignment as per vat returns consignment sales also includes in total sales of consignee but as per books of consignee total sales not includes consignmetnt sales

put notes to the balance sheet, mentioning the consignment sales inclusion in stock,
make a reconcillation statement to verify the facts.
