Consequences of deducting TDS more than the rate prescribed.
Are there any consequences for deductor, if he deducts tds at a rate more than prescribed??

As per me no problem but you have to deposit the excess TDS amount to Govt. and at the time of filling of return Tag the person for whom the excess TDS was deducted
