Consequences if dpt 4 filed after due date

Refer Sec.403.  Additional fee will be applicable for delay upto 270 days.

No problem as date is extended upto 30-08-2014 for DPT-4 without additional fees.

Plz give the notification of such date extention.

MCA has vide General Circular N0. 27/2014-  Dated 30.06.2014 extended the  due date for Filing DPT-4 with Registrar of Companies in respect of Deposits standing on 01.04.2014 i.e. the date of Commencement of Companies Act, 2013  from 30.06.2014 to 30.08.2014 without any additional fee.

Can someone please elaborate that apart from filing DPT-4 is there any other compliances required to be done in this behalf? Kindly revert  at the earliest

Rule 21 of the companies (Acceptance of Deposit) Rules 2014:-

If any company referred to in sub-section (2) of section 73 or any eligible company inviting deposits or any other person contravenes any provision of rules for which no punishment is provided in the Act, the company and every officer of the company who is in default shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees and where the contravention is a continuing one, with a further fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for every day after the first day during which the contravention continues.

due date of dpt 4 has been extended upto 31.08.2014. but when we file dpt 4 on 26.10.2014 it demands additional fee of rs 6000 + 600 original fee i.e. total 6600/- as per rules additional fee is payable 6 times upto 90 dasy and 10 times upto 90 days to 180 days.

then additional fee is 6000 why ? it should be 6 times i.e. rs 3600/-
