Dear gemini, CS (which leads to ACS & FCS) has its focus more upon law & corporate governance. CWA is focussed upon Management Accounting. Which Domain of Finance are u interested in? If u r interested in capital mkts, u can even do CFA US.

Domains...there r many..
Havin said abt CS & CWA above & assuming tht u knw abt CA...the other popular domains are:
1. Risk Planning: Predominantly dominated by FRM USA.
2. Equity Analysis, Research & Financial Planning: CFA USA
3. International Accounting & Taxation: CPA frm AICPA USA
4. There are many Short Term Courses like CFP & CIB(ICFAI).
5. And Of course u are aware of MBA Finance...
Duration for CS & CWA are roughly 3-4 years. CS has 15 months Internship & CWA has 36months interns.

CS is a respectable qualification.Corporate Governance can only get better from here. So thr wont b any dearth of opportunities. & Regarding pay packets, it wud b better if u can contact a few established CSs...

Thank you very much jeet.
It is really help me a lot to avoid the confusion,
I made a decision to register for CS.
I expect your guidence to complete this succssfully.
Thank you once again.
The scope CWA is more wider than C.S, Those who are adviced you that cwa is a time taking course, thats not right because what a C..A Can not do a CWA can do, According to my experience CWA more preferable for you than C.S, if you want to equated with others e.g (ACCOUNTANT) then first come to the cwa course, it is a chance for you when you completed the cwa course there is much more exemptions(Papers) for C.S Course.
