Confusion

Hi,
I've appeared in the PEII GrII exam of the Institute in November05,and hopefully clear the same after which I"ll reach the grand finals.I want to join some work now since I've completed my articles training.But a bit confused as to wheather go in for a job in a private company or a CA firm.Moreover will it hamper my preparations for the finals if I clear the PEII?.Kindly give me advice.

You may join as a Financial Trainee which most companies are hiring nowadays. It would be good exposure and the terms of job of such trainees are normally suited to their academic needs. However, it depends on the job availability in your city

Dear Pranjal
I am working with Dharampal Satyapal Limited and our Co. also hires Financial & Management Trainees in Guwahati as well as Corporate Office at Noida, and the stipend offered, though not very high is better than that given by CA Firms at least. The JobProfile ( Ours is a manufacturing Industry) would depend upon the Candidate's academics and expertise, which is decided in the Interview. I am not sure about other Companies in Guwahati and there not many companies in Guwahati also, though there are many in Metro Cities. But you could give a try at L & T, Star Cement and Airtel & Aircel which are upcoming ventures in Guwahati.

Thank you very much for your reply.Since I'm thinking of doing a job,I"ll be interested to join in your company.However since I've yet to qualify the finals will your company give me atleast a months leave to appear in the exams?.Kindly let me know about the same at the earliest.I"ll also call you within a short time.
