WHETHER CONDONATION OF DELAY IN DEPOSITING TDS CAN BE ALLOWED AND IF IT CAN BE ALLOWED THEN WHO HAS THE POWER TO CONDONE IT AND TO WHICH EXTENT?

No such provisions are there in Income-tax Act at present. The delay in deposit of TDS to the credit of Government will attract the provisions of section 201.
