Benefit is no need of tax collection. Only 1 quarterly return .
drawback: no input tax credit available
But it is not applicable to supply of service, interstate outward supply, electronic commerce operator

And one more point., It is reflected your business. It means, RD can't ll be purchasing goods from you. Bcoz, They get loss on his ITC...
