what if GSTR4 filed mistakenly
without paying tax. as today there is no option to pay liability in gst portal.
so I have filed with nil returns though there is sales

You have to firslty pay tax & upload return,then only you can file your return.

Also its not a good idea to file return with nil amt although having sales
