In lien with section 215, where a company has a secretary he has to be a signatory to accounts. Usually secretary is a member of ICSI.

But what is the position if the secretary is a CA (this is due to the fact that paid up capital of the entity is less than mandatory limit of 5 Crore. is it required for him to sign the Balance Sheet

Any clue....

He is not requried to sign the Balance Sheet.. Only company secretary appointed under section 383A is required to sign the balance sheet.

Agreed with Ankur Sir.....

But sir Balance Sheet is required to sign by the person authorized by the Board......

Please correct me if i am wrong.
