Annual return must be filed within 60 days of AGM or if AGM not held - within 60 days from the date on which AGM must be held- Date of Balance sheet has got no relevance

BALANCE SHEET, PROFIT & LOSS ACCOUNT AND COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE MUST BE FILED IN FORM 23AC,ACA,66 RESP WITHIN 30 DAYS OF AGM WHEREAS ANNUAL RETURN IN FORM 20B MUST BE FILED WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF AGM

Dear Mr. Kulvinder
If the auditor and authorised person on behalf of the Board have signed the Balance sheet and profit and loss account it must be filed with concerned ROC with in 30 days from the date of AGM on which such account was approved by the members of the company in Form 23AC and Form ACA with payment as per scheduled X of the Companies Act, 1956.
In case of Annual Report in Form No 20B, it is required to file within 60 days from the date of AGM with Concerned ROC with payment as per Scheduled X of the Companies Act, 1956.
