hello eveyone please tell me whether companies act 2013.i.e the new 98 sections passed are applicable with immediate effect i.e they are applicable from the date it got assent of president and applicable for FY 13-14...?

98 sections of the Companies Act, 2013 are applicable from 12.09.2013.
.
Further, it was clarified by MCA vide General Circular No. 16/2013, dated 18.09.2013, that the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, which correspond to provisions of 98 sections of the Companies Act, 2013 brought into force on 12.09.2013, cease to have effect from that date.
