22 January 2010there has been a tremendous news spreading among ca students nowadays that icai is gonna introduce a new college system in ca education too,where the students will have to attend the colleges compulsory and undergo their articleship simultaneously

I dont think so. I've heard that they are going to take some classes on regular basis but not like college.

I THINK THAT COLLEGE THING IS JUST FOR ATC COURCE STUDENTS
THEY LL BE GIVEN SOME DEGREE OR SOME THING !

Not possible yar....
imagine how a student who is going through articleship can attend regular classes of icai........
and ya if it happens then icai must reduce its training upto 2 years...
