Coaching center query

i am running a coaching center and collect fee from them.last year fee collection exceed 20l should i take gst reg.pls reply ..thanks in advance

Once your registration limit crosses 20 lakhs in case of service, you need to compulsorily apply for GST

But what about private collage?

You have to need to register under GST Regime. Further, you are providing services under the head of coaching instead of this college providing services is exempt under GST.
