Here any body know , any difference between simple average and simple weighted average for valuation of closing stock .plz tell me

For a case
Item A 12 Kg @ Rs. 100
Item B 100 kg @ Rs 56
Simple Avg (100+56)/2 = Rs 78
weighted average (12*100+100*56) / (12+100) = Rs 60.71
