Closing of pvt ltd company

hi every one

One of my client has filed application for closing of Pvt. Ltd. company in 2005, and thought company has been striked off. Now company has received from ROC for non filing of annual returns.

How much time it can be takes for closing up of company.

And would company be required to pay penalty and if yes what amount.

And what more documents would be required further.

Please anyone can advice what can be done further.

Dear Megha,

Striking off ends the matter. Once your application is accepted for striking off no further returns are needed to be filed.

Please enquire from ROC if some formalities are remained to be completed.

Dear Megha

First check what is status of your Form filed for the company for stiking off. May be on some ground ROC has rejected your request , first check it, if the same is under process no need to file any returns.

Agree with the view of Smriti Dhawan. Further to add with the reply of Smriti, also reply the ROC that the company is in strike off process along with the proof of the same.
