Dear All,
A company got its shares listed on the stock exchange in December 2010. So i wanted to know that while publishing its quarterly results for the quarter ended 31.12.2010 does the company needs to publish figures corresponding to the previous year/Quarter, as the company was not listed in the previous year.
An urgent reply would be highly appreciated.

Yes, the results should be in the format as prescribed under clause 41 of the listing agreement.

But sir, in the previous year results were not prepared since it was not necessary. So how can we prepare it now as the Accounts have been audited for the previous year and the figures wont be comparable.

Dear Priti Ji,
Accounts must have been Audited for last year too.
Figures may be regrouped and rearranged whereever required to make it comparable.
