Please clarify, Whether notice of BM to consider the unaudited financial results is also required to be published in newspaper as per clause 41 of listing agreement.

No.... Only the financials approved by the BOD are to be published in at least two papers out of which one should be in vernacular language................

And well, BM notice is a internal document..... In case the company is going to have a GM, then it is necessary for the compnay to have notice in the newspaper.

The BM notice for considering unaudited Results has to be published as per the clause 41 of the listing agreement.

pasting herewith the relevant subclause of 41 clause

III) Intimation of Board Meeting

a) The company shall give prior intimation of the date and purpose of meetings of the Board or Committee in which the financial results will be considered under sub-clause (II)(a) or (II)(e), as the case may be, at least seven clear calendar days prior to the meeting (excluding the date of the intimation and date of the meeting).

b) The company shall also simultaneously issue a public notice in at least in one English daily newspaper circulating in the whole or substantially the whole of India and in one daily newspaper published in the language of the region, where the registered office of the company is situated

BM 7 clear days notice is only given to stock excahnges not to general public....the second paragraph stated above is for financial results not for BM Notice..
