I need help with tally.
While accounting for a firm dealing in shares and stocks, I have done the following :
1. create purchase of funds/ sale of funds account in purchase and sales group.
2. Create separate stock items under stock groups 'Scripts held for investment/ scripttts held for speculation.'
I want scripttts held for investment to be reflected as investments in Balance sheet, the gain or loss on sale to come in the P&L. However, bcos of the grouping, these are reflected in the closing stock .
How should i change this?
