Clarification syllabus 2016 and 2012

my name is sadiq i'm a icmai student registered under 2008 syllabus and cleared/qualified Group 1 under 2008 syllabas but after that i have appeared 2nd group under 2008 syllabus only,as per latest clarification notification 2016 syllabus i'm not eligible for Group 1 exemption under syllabus 2016 as i didn't appeared 2012 syllabus i have to write both groups under syll 2016, but i have the option to choose syll 2012, my question is can i get Group 1 exemption in term june 2017 if i choose 2012 syllabus. please help me, im confused as its nowhere mentioned in notification.
