Hi,

I have one query regarding TDS.

Data entry of drivers log book from trip sheet  & PF details of employees in RTECH version (software used to enter log book) - under what section TDS has to deduct?

i think 194 J.....

Thanks  Ankit, but  my doubt here is it is data entry, there is no professional service - please clarify

My view is 194C,

Since it is on contract basis for a period and it does NOT require any professional qualification recognized by any professional body.

It is generally given on contractual basis to feed that data in the specified way or software of the contract provider.

Agreed with Savitha S ji

For Data Entry => TDS u/s 194C

For RTECH Software => TDS u/s 194J

 Dear Akhil Ji, i am not sure that there are two queries, in my opinion ther is only one query of data entry of driver time and PF Details in R tech verison (software of client). Rest Savitha ji to clarify.

Howvere, even if there are two queries, my view says for TDS u/s 194C, since it does not require any professional skill or knowledge.

Views of other members are solicited.......

Sorry Dear all frum member

I had mistakenly answer a single query as two separate query. I am fully agree with Rahul Gupta Sir.

Sorry Rahul Ji and I accept my mistake.

Thanks Rahul & Akhil.

Ya it is one query not 2 seperate queries.Even my doubt was 194C.
