Hi,
Can u clarify the ST query of for Training charges vendor added ST to the Gross Amount. But they didn't have the Service Tax Registration No.
Pl advice with explanation,

since they didn't have service tax registration no , you can not claim service tax credit on the same . So its advisable not to pay ST amt to the vendor just pay gross amount.

The person who not having service tax registation not eligble to issue Service Tax invoice, you are also not liable to pay service tax from services getting unregistered dealers.

W/o a ST Regn no. a person cannot deposit Service Tax with the Govt. Hence How can it collect it from others w/o depoisting the same. Also It is mandatory to mention ST Regn. in the ST invoice if One charges it in its Invoice.

If the assessee has not service tax registraton number you don't pay service to such type of party other credit not to be taken
