Hey guys ,

I just wanted to know more about the the other equivalent CA courses like in other countries ( USA and UK).

Like ACCA,CPA,ACA etc.

Just needed more clarification on this courses ,recognition,,and the exemptions one gets after becoming a Indian CA.

And the ADDITIONAL VALUE and the usefulness of doing these courses.

Every course has their own recognition. All above courses are also well recognised. It depends on your interest area, based on that you can select the course. If you are interested more in audit, then you can do Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Internal Auditor. Certified Actuaries are also well recognised in India and are in much demand.

 

Even SAP-FICO consultants are in much demand. Further, if you are interested in assessing the risk then you can do 'Financial Risk Manager' being offered by Global Association of Risk Professionals. You can also do Chartered Financial Analyst-CFA course from US. All these are equally tough courses and few may require training to get certified. For course like CIMA, there is an exemption.
