Dear Experts,
My brother is a salaried employee. He forgot to claim HRA, LTA, medical expense & Mediclaim Policies before 31st march 2014, therefore the same is not showing in his form no 16. My question is can he claim the same allowances while filling e return? from which particular theses allowances will be deductible as there is no space in ITR 1 for sec 10 deductions.? does he need to send supported proofs like rent receipts,medical bills etc.to IT department? How does he chaim refund after these adjustments?
