Mr X has taken gst registration on 8th March. Mr Y has issued Gst bill in Jan and Mr X has made the payment to Mr Y .
whether Mr X can claim input credit of Mr Y's bill in the month of march against his march billing as Mr Y is going to file GST return for Mar QTR

But,
You can try to revise the purchase invoice after your registration. Consider Your supplier...
