Hi, How to claim LTA deduction if its not taken care in form 16 , can i claim in ITR 1 (which section ) ? but how to attach proof (tickets,..)?

you need not attach tickets, the returns are annexureless. You keep the proofs wiith you , it may be required during queries from AO in assessment.

YES, you can claim it. By deducting the amount from Salary Income and showing the NET SALARY in ITR-1. At the end of the FORM there is one CELL askinh for total amount of exempted Income(s). In that colum/Cell you show the total Exemptions including this LTA.
Yes, You must keep some evidence for the expenditure incurred by you. If your Return is selected for scrutiny, you have to produce the evidence to ITO (AO).

hi, iam aware this post is more than an year old,
I am facing a similar problem now for the assessment year 2013-2014.
@ chenchumoham: Sir i dont find the field in the ITR1 form for 2013. as you are close to the system please advice
