Claim of ITC

ITC / Input 350 views 9 replies

my client has purchased good from a supplier at the time of purchase client didn't provide GST number to supplier and supplier didn't show my purchase in his GSTR 1 and now he is rejecting that he has sold goods to me.and payment has been made in cash
I have purchase invoice in which GST has been charged separately on my name.
Now can I claim ITC on such invoice

if it is not appearing in gstr 2a then input cannot be claimed.
2A is not a base of ITC...as its beyond my control..I am not responsible for supplier act
2A is base for input for gst.
you can take but assessment is there then you have to face it.
no, you can't
if in your purchase bill not mention your gst no., then u cant claim itc
Agree with Varsha Ma'am...

If in the Invoice your GSTIN is not mentioned then you cannot claim ITC.

The Supplier must have shown it as B2C Transaction in his GSTR 1.
you can't claim the ITC as your GST No. is not written in the purchased invoice.
ok thank you so much
good clarification and information
