Claim in partnership business

I was in partnership business with my brother..Two years ago we have diveded our business.At that time there was one crore rupees was credit to partnership ..I have accepted that I will pay whole amount of one crore to creditors and in lieu of that i deduct asset from my brother but after that I did not pay any amount to creditors.Whether I ca claim the asset which i deducted from my brother?
