Achyuth, there is no such provision that qualified CAs be given some special treatment for civil services. However, my personal view is that CA/CA/ICWA is no less than an IAS etc.

thank u guys.... but in the prospectus that is given to me by ICAI while registering for CPT says that "Qualified CA's are eligible for admission to civil Service Exams., which is conducted by Commission for recruitment oto IAS, IPS and othe Group A/ Group B central Services / Posts."
wat does this mean... does it mean that CA have an upper hand on Civil Servise exams???
