Career Prospects after CISA.
CA and CISA makes pretty nice combination. However this is best for professionals working in Internal Audit / Risk / Compliance departments.
CISA empowers to see through the system which is greek for plain vanila CA auditor i.e. you start understanding the concepts like Application controls (automated controls within a particular software e.g. SAP), General controls, Information Security, Risks and Challenges in E-business environment etc.
This variety of skillset what you acquire in CISA makes good combination with existing skills of CAs i.e. analytical ability, Data crunching, Business Process Analysis.
Though any industry will benefit from this blend, you can particularly look forward to Banking / Financial sector (too much confidential data in use - hence requires deep protection), IT / BPOs (again the same logic plus stringent overseas client requirements) and other hi-tech / R&D / Knowledge based companies (need to keep their business secrets i.e Knowledge Base secure i.e. to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Information System and Knowledge Base)
