Can anybody confirm and reply me, whether tuition fees paid to CIMA insitute UK is eligible for deduction u/s 80C:

Hellow abhijit,
surely this is not allowed as deduction bcoz sum is paid outside india , as per sec 80 C sum towards full time tution should be paid in INDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....................

one more reason not to satisfy 80C.........that CIMA isnt a full-time course.

HELLO ABHIJIT ,NO DEDUCTION U/S 80C BECAUSE THIS TUTION FEES IS NOT PAID IN INDIA FOR FULL TIME .SO NO DEDUCTION AVAILED.

Are you asking this question in respect of your own ITR or in respect of your parents.
As per 80C only tution fees paid in respect of children education is allowed as deduction.
