Hi Friends,

As I already decided to go for ICWAI...but when I look, there are so many other  Institute of Management Accountants in other part....and they are promoting there certification in India...I know course fee are very high...but opportunities are also very high Globally...so my question is going forward why we go for ICWAI...why cannot CIMA...??? As ICWAI takes on an avarage 3 to 4 years...to clear...that is only when you atleast 6 to 8 hrs daily...but still not sure that result will be positive..but other Institute of Management Accountants has 100% result with 100% job gauranteed...Need all yours expert comments to help make decision, where to go....for all new students...???? Good to go for CIMA or ICWAI..????

As per as Indian Job Market for CWA has more offers comparing CMA-US. Even though CMA -US qualification is equally recongnised, for where ever required Cost Audit & cost certification as per the statutory norms in India, only  Indian Cost Accountants are allowed. Private Job markets also giving preference Indian CWAs only.

As per as Global Job market CIMA, CMA-US & India CMA has equally recongnised and all the institutes also has mutually recognised the other courses

In the view of practice & statuory compliance point, CWA need to take in depth study so taking little more time.

The first thing you need to understant is that cost accountancy in India is now called as CMA (not CWA). And for your question, I should know whether you're refering to CIMA, London or something else?

Yes Sir..I am talking CIMA-UK....which looks better than CMA-India...as compare saving time and getting good opportunities..!!!yes

But CIMA-UK is also as tough as CMA India (Ya I know the pass percentage very high though). My advice will be to go for CIMA only if you want to go abroad. Else CMA India will be better.

Icwai will be in demand as per  changing scenario. After than have option to do Cima also as per Mou

Better to go for CMA india, after completion of CMA India you will get exemption in CIMA and only you need to pass 4 papers. so you will have 2 degrees, one for india and another for international level. in India most of the Indian companies only konws CMA india.

According to me you have to go with CIMA (UK) As  it is a globally recognise course and Salary package is higher then any other course. for ,more details you can go at CIMA Site.

Regards,

Neha
