21 November 2008I would like to know in whose favour cheque/dd to be drawn for payment of mvat, tds, excise duty, service tax, profession tax, provident fund.
e.g for mvat payment -- SBI A/c- sales tax.
Also for payment of tds on contractor, profession, commission. different cheques to be drawn or single one for all is o.k.

If we deposit Professional Tax in Kolkata in any Nationalised Bank in India , in which favour chq to be issued .
