The DND is an abbreviation of Do Not Disturb function. The DND is an initiative taken by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to prevent the customers from unsolicited calls and SMS. Some Do Not Disturb attributes contains directing the call to a pre-allotted extensions, busy signal, DND signal or recorded message generated by telephone switch. Fewer switches permit the call to go via the extension, but banned the response to a visual indication. Several PBX systems permit the assignment of DND circumvention codes to supervisors.
