As we have seeing lots of changes in the present world, With the changing circumstances Imagine if ICAI replaces its Name 'chartered accountants' to some other name, then what would you, like the name shall be ?
In present days CA's are not only dealing with accounts rather., It includes Income tax, Law, Kind of Engg woks etc.
The name Accountants is also not seen with higher priority in the public where we stand, They Just see us as AN ACCOUNTANT !! or HEAD of ACCOUNTANT i'e CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT !! So this shows where we stand actually in the eyes of common man !! But Look at DOCTORS, ENGINEERS ? Woh woh my goodness sounds great right ?
[ No doubt only professionals knows CA's but what about a common man ? e.g Agriculturist who is having dominant role in the economy ! , He understands only Doctor, Lawyer and Engineer ! Chartered accountant nowhere exists in his day-to-day life ! ]
Recently our beloved ICAI has made many changes including its exam patterns, knowledge sharing etc then WHY DON"T WE HAVE A DIFFERENT NAME IN THE SOCIETY ??
