If the branches within the same state are in the same line of business and no separate registration is taken then no GST shall be levied. However, if they are business verticals then separate registration is required and GST has to be charged.
However, incase of interstate transfer between branches, separate registration has to be taken for each branch. Also, IGST shall be levied.
