Turnover of a manufacturing unit is Rs. 1.5 crores as on date.
Today i am filing online application for Cetral excise registration.
Can i start invoicing with excise duty from tomorrow ?
or should i wait for approval of the department .?

department will issue regn effective from the date of application, duty is payable immediately after 150L, so you have to charge excise right now, as the liability is accuring after 150 L

After the filing online application for excise registration you can start the invoicing with excise duty but duty will be payable after aproval of the department.
