Once taxpayer has chosen the option "Quarterly", they cannot change this option in the remaining part of the financial year 2017-18. Thus, they will be required to file Quarterly returns and they cannot opt for Monthly filing of returns during current financial year

If you have selected "monthly returns" , you cannot change back to "quaterly returns" in this particual Financial year. Though you can write to the GST Helpdesk or contact your jurisdictional officer and they might be able to help you more in this regard.

Hi,

For legal implication, you can talk at 1800-1200-232.
