Change of office address in gst

What do you mean by "Shifting" ? What is your officially registered office as per MCA ? 

I mean we have changed our registered office and moved to different location in the same city. Since we have received provisional ID and password from KVAT,whether we should submit change of address to VAT or can change our the address after migration to GST.

If its in regards to the same state, you may consult your VAT Department and get it amended there.

Also, for your information, the data which has been migrated from VAT is the legal name and PAN, both of which are non-editable fields. The other details are open for you to enter as per the documents uploaded along. 

Thus in your case, in my opinion, you should do the needful as per VAT Laws ensuring amendment of the address and get an updated RC issued. After that you may upload the same in GST Portal and mention the new address therein. In this case there would be no hustle in GST migration and changes thereafter.

I have a same question but i got the registration certicificate from DVAT and now i want to change my business address also i didn't register under GST till time.

As per TN VAT act and CST ,We had registered  and do the business in Tamil nadu and  we had shifted Telangana.

After shifted Telangana now registered GST on old tamilnadu address . if it is possible to change our Telangana address on our GST ,

It is possible,Because we want to do our business from Telangana not in Tamilnadu.
