Change of address from agra to mumbai

If a person changes his address from Agra to Mumbai, what is the procedure for address change in Income Tax? Form 49A(the one which deals with changes and not new application) for change of address will obviously be filed. But how soon will the ward/jurisdiction etc change? And does that change automatically once Form 49A is filed?
