"fill form 49A at the earliest, 

during this period all assessment and refunds would be routed to old address.

once the address change is confirmed, all such communication will come to new address, 

in case any pending refund etc, then you have to ask old ITO to send the file to new ITO showing current year return submitted to new ITO"

Till u not change your address in nsdl record through 49A u wont get refund

thanks friends for your responses 

I know about 49B But my question is - Is it sufficient OR

a physical hard copy letter is required to be submitted in the IToffice for shifting our files records to new ward no. ?

I have got 2 different replies from 2 Practicising CA's which 49B was the option that i knew and agree

what about letter
