The father is running the business, having GST No., of trading of spare parts. Now he wants to transfer the business to his son. The son doesn't have a GST No. yet . What is the process of change in ownership of the proprietorship business? What forms and documentation need to be done under GST Law? Please advise.

sir GST number is allotted on basic of PAN...So you have to take new registration for son...
So, father will surrender his GST No. and son will take new GST No.? Outside GST, father can trasfer the business to his son vide Gift Deed. Should this be the course of action or any other leagl requirement?
