Change in DVAT Rates

From when rate of DVAT has been changed?, Is there any circular regarding it?, what are the changes in Rate?

Can somebody help regarding it?

Hi Rahul,

DVAT rate of almost 120 items has been changed from 4% to 5% . The relevant notification expected to be published soon and as heared from the various sources .... the effective date most probabley shall be 01.01.2010 ....

This is to inform that Delhi VAT Amendment Act, 2009 has been made effective from 13.01.2010 vide notification no. F3 (23) / FIN (T&E) / 2009-10 / JSS / 15-25.

Consequently VAT rate of 4% has been changed to 5% w.e.f. 13.01.2010.

The controversial amendments under section 9 & 10 have been put on hold.

please tell me treatment of change in rate from 4% to 5% in online return . online return format having no coloumn for 5% , where we show the 5% sales value .please help me in this regards and what we do plz email me at pankajro @ gmail.com
