Sir, We had deposit Online Payment on dt 12-04-2016 by mistkae we selected wrong assessment year 2017-18 instead of 2016-17, how to corrected the above challan. pl give me your valuable advice. Thanks

for financial year 2015-16, AY is 2016-17, . you made a mistake, error is human,repent is divine. Revenue need to accept your error, so it will you make a submission to the relevant CIT under a copy to AO, they are bound to accept, as Natural justice under Art 14 is active Mr. accountant sir!
