We are paid TDS on Rent (194I) for the assessment year 2009-10. We are wrongly filled in challan as assessment year as 2008-09 instead of 2009-10? can we adjust for the assessment 2009-10 or any problem will come? Please Tell me.

If you not filled tds return of said period , then you will adjust the same.

You can get in touch with your AO on this matter.. this is a very common error.. The AO can rectify ur mistake..

A long cut would be that ur deductee files a revised return for the AY 08-09 claiming such deduction of TDS as refund.
