Dear sir,

I paid income tax of my co-worker for financial year 2014-15 through SBI online on 01.04.2015 But I did not receive CIN no. Total tax amount is Rs 3403/- and online transaction no. is IK74947403. How can I know that income tax has been paid or not. Online receipt is attached. Thanks.

Dear Sir

Need not to worry about it, If CIN no. is not generated at the time of payment you could know your payment detail in your 26AS.

- Just Login to Incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

- View your Tax credit in your 26AS

- It will show your payment detail " BSR Code, Challan No., Amount, and bank Detail"

But I have no account on Incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Tax was paid as self assessment tax.

U have to login using your co workers pan number. Create an account. If one is not present. Then check 26 as status by download. There everything will be mentioned clearly.
