But on tracking on OLTAS-Challan Status Inquiry CIN based View with BSR code, Challan Tender Date and Challan Serial No., it shows:
No records found for the above query.
How much time does it take to reflect in OLTAS and 26AS ?

It usually takes 3 to 4 working days to reflect in the system.............so wait......

Also...
should one wait for it to reflect in OLTAS &/or 26AS or, can go ahead and file ITR with BSR Code, Challan Sl. no. obtained from the generated Tax Payer Counterfoil ?

Its simultaneous..........
Better to get confirmation............. otherwise if you are sure about the challan's correctness.........may file ITR base on manually filling the details of the challan.

If data is correct in challan........specifically .PAN no and Ass Year......need not worry.........it is bound to reflect in system.

Yes. PAN, Assessment Yr., Major/Minor head, amount, all 100% correct and double checked.
But do they also validate address/pincode againt PAN/Net-banking a/c? Since CITY + STATE + PINCODE where the only compulsory fields in the address section of the online challan 280, I ONLY FILLED them, left everything else (FLAT NO./MOBILE No./EMAIL id) blank. Would that be an issue?

Surely not............
Challan gets credited to system based on PAN, Assessment year, and Major/minor heads. And the amout of tax paid.................. rest all are rarely checked........
So, rest assured for its credit......
