mba is an academic degree and is certified and approved by aicte, while cfa (from icfai) is a professional degree, but not approved by aicte......if you are a student, its better to take mba, because initial employment always needs aicte approved courses.......but, if you are already working, and you need a higher degree for professional and career enhancement then do cfa.
comparatively cfa (usa) is globally recognised than cfa (icfai) and has more value internationally.....
for more info on mba, cfa, their scope, comparision etc.,

Most of the CA's Pursue CFA. That's why CFA is better than an MBA Degree. If you are planning to upgrade your profile academically and professionally then CFA is the best answer.
